Objective
The Martin Luther King celebration is a televised joint community event designed by our youth for our youth, modeling the lifestyle of a world-class leader who effected change in a non-violent, strategic, and unified manner. This event has become a staple in the annual calendars of many.
After two years of outstanding virtual presentations on our YouTube Channel MLKConnexus and a spectacular 25th Anniversary event, we will once host an impressive celebration.

Our Live and televised 2025 MLK event, coined “Unshaken, Unbroken, Unstoppable” will take place at the new state-of-the-art concert auditorium located on the campus of Canada Event Centre at 300 Water Street, Whitby. This star-studded celebration, which includes scholarship and community development award presentations, entertainers, dances and government representatives, will drive an undeniable spark for collaboration. Hopefully, this will build a more robust, cohesive, harmonious, sustainable, and equitable community starting today.
The event will be inspiring, motivational, cultural, and educational. The program's format will focus on Dr. King's visionary leadership style. Undoubtedly, he made a significant impact on the world stage as he targeted the elimination of the racial divide, allowing for a common humanity, one that is all-inclusive, where love, harmony, and community is the unifying principle.
Logistics
The event will be live on Saturday, January 18th, 2025, at 6:30 PM, at Canada Christian College, 300 Water Street, Whitby.
